We’re excited to announce the release of SnowMirror 6.1, which now includes enhanced support for Key‑Pair Authentication and Programmatic Access Token Authentication for Snowflake. These new methods provide secure, headless authentication that bypasses traditional password-based sign-ins—helping modernize integrations and automation pipelines.

Starting in November 2025, Snowflake will completely block single‑factor password authentication (both human users and service accounts), in line with their phased rollout of mandatory multi‑factor authentication. SnowMirror 6.1 ensures you’re ahead of this transition: you can migrate seamlessly to these supported authentication mechanisms—ensuring uninterrupted access and compliance.
